We leave Geraldine and drive towards the famous town Lake Tekapo. Lake Tekapo is well-known for its stunning blue lake. Before entering Lake Tekapo, you will pass through some stunning mountain passes with breathtaking views.

Church of the Good Shepherd

The Church of the Good Shepherd was erected to the glory of God and as a tribute to the pioneers of the Mackenzie Country on the banks of Lake Takap among the natural beauty of the lake and the mountains. You will have opportunity to explore and photograph Tekapo Lake while you are here.

Lake Pukaki

Lake Pukaki is the largest of three nearly parallel alpine lakes that run north-south along the northern edge of New Zealand's South Island's Mackenzie Basin. Lake Pukaki is one of the bluest lakes you'll ever see, with Aoraki/Mt Cook and the Southern Alps in the background. We come to a halt to snap some beautiful photos and simply admire the scenery

Aoraki/Mt Cook National Park

Arrive in Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park and have a delicious meal at Hermitage Hotel. We'll have around 1.5 hours here for lunch and hiking. We recommend walking the Tasman glacier and taking scenic flights. We will pick you up and drop you off where you need to go, while also making sure you are well taken care of.

Tasman Glacier walks

Tasman Glacier is New Zealand's largest glacier and one of many huge glaciers that flow south and east from the Southern Alps on New Zealand's South Island to the Mackenzie Basin.
